I do! an event for the stylish bride

We are very excited to be part of the upcoming I do! event happening this November. We recently met with Christine Zohrabaians from Fancy That! Event Designs to discuss the stunning location at the Huntington Langham Hotel in Pasadena and the upscale list of vendors. We feel very honored that Christine and her team asked us to join in on this very elite pre-wedding experience for the bride and yes, the groom is invited too! We have no doubt it will be a memorable day for all to enjoy.

Custom suits and tuxedos with Couture Wedding Dresses, that's a perfect match!

It's a great day in our world when we have the chance to meet with an amazing dress designer. This week we had the pleasure of meeting Arminé at her Studio City salon, R-mine. The collection of unique and elegant gowns is what makes a perfect stop for modern brides in search of a timeless gown with a little bit of edge. This is where the perfect match starts, we at The Groom's Valet can also design a timeless couture wedding suit or tuxedo with a little bit of edge that will make this couple compliment each others wedding attire. We so enjoyed getting to know Arminé and hearing her passion about design and her time she spends with the bride-to-be to understand her needs and wants when it comes to her dress for the big day. We look forward to teaming up with the R-mine salon in creating stunning one-of-a-kind looks for those wedding couples in search for something extra special.

Do we all remember the Hugh Hefner wedding that didn't happen?

It was a week before Mr. Hefner's wedding and we received a call from style expert Lindsay Albanese, she was in need of a cream colored suit for her client Hank Baskett  (NFL wide receiver) who was attending the wedding with his wife Kendra, Hefner's ex-The Girl Next Door. It was our pleasure to help Lindsay out in this short time frame! Randy Reisman our Master Tailor showed up to their hotel with options on suits, shirts, ties and pocket squares. The fitting went brilliantly. The suit was chosen and  because of Hank's arm length we had a stunning lavender check shirt made for him that matched a lavender tie along with a lavender print pocket square. The suit was altered, shirt made and ready for drop off to Hank and Kendra's within four days..... Just enough time for the wedding to be called off. That's ok, because we still got to see Mr. Baskett look so handsome at the ESPY awards on July 13, 2011. I will have to say The Groom's Valet did it again, and it was our pleasure.

The suits and tuxedo are from our custom handmade collection from Italy.
